Your best win should be in the top third of the resume. If a recruiter has to scroll, you have already lost the moment.

2. Writing duties instead of impact
"Managed inventory" tells nothing. "Cut inventory waste 32% in 6 months" tells everything. Quantify wherever possible.

3. Generic objective statements
"Looking for a challenging role" is filler. Replace it with one sentence that names what you do, your top result, and what you are seeking next.

4. Inconsistent formatting
Mixed fonts, mismatched bullet styles, dates in three formats scream lack of attention to detail. Pick one style and stick with it.

5. No tailoring
Sending the same resume to every job rarely works. Tweak your summary and skills section for each role. Even 5 minutes of tailoring matters.

Bottom line: Your resume is a marketing document. Treat it like one and it will open more doors than you expect.
